Patons Insurance scoops latest award for ‘exceptional’ customer service

Patons Insurance customers continually describe the insurance broker as ‘friendly, excellent and amazing’, earning it top customer service awards for the seventh year in a row.

Patons continues to be ranked as “exceptional” by Feefo and has again achieved Platinum Trusted Service Award status for delivering “world-class customer experiences year after year”. Patons has won this accolade in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and now in 2026.

The platinum awards are given to businesses that achieve Feefo’s Gold Trusted Service Award for three years in a row. Patons first received the gold standard in 2020, 2021 and 2022, when it scooped its first platinum award. Successive gold awards followed in 2023, 2024, 2025 and now in 2026.

Feefo Trusted Service Awards recognise the top brands for customer service. Winners are decided based on the ratings they receive from their customers.

Customer feedback

Among the five-star ratings, one Trusted Customer shared: “Excellent. Very good service as always. The lady I spoke to on the phone was very good. She explained everything very clearly and well. Also got a wee laugh between us! Can’t fault Patons service. I’ve been with them for a while now. Thank you.”

Kenneth agreed: “Friendly staff who do seem to try and get the best cover for you and your vehicle. This year’s price was actually very competitive, and the app is great for downloading the information they require.”

Derek said: “Great service. I’ve been with Patons two years now. Great service and very helpful, so thanks for that.”

Another Trusted Customer said: “Friendly, helpful, efficient service provided and very competitive prices.”

Mohammed said: “Best taxi insurance by a mile. Amazing service.”

Others praised the way staff went out of their way to help.

Clifford said: “Great service and friendly. Patons, over the six years that I have had my car insurance with them, have always been extremely helpful, friendly and always a pleasure to deal with.”

Perry said: “Mark worked hard to get a competitive price and overcome some challenges with a taxi policy. Friendly, helpful and attentive and great service.”

Personal touch

Patons Insurance marketing manager Ben Smith said it was an honour to win the prestigious awards again.
